The story behind Dovetail Cellars
To us, wine is all about connections - to place, to craft, to family and friends. Growing up, Owner/Winemaker Ben Stuart watched his dad cut dovetail joints in his cabinet shop by hand. Ben always admired how his dad combined art and craftsmanship in everything he made.
Dovetail Cellars is a small, boutique winery focusing on unique blends made from the best grapes from Washington State. Ben graduated from the Enology and Viticulture program in Walla Walla in 2015 and began his winemaking career that same year at Burnt Bridge Cellars in Vancouver, Washington. Dovetail Cellars is Ben’s personal label, the result of over a decade of making exceptional Washington wines.
His approach to winemaking is rooted in the belief that every detail matters, from the careful selection of vineyards to the artful blending of flavors. Each bottle of Dovetail wine is a testament to the harmony of tradition and innovation.
